南韓的MERS疫情擴大，為因應可能帶來的感染危機，擁有九床標準負壓病房的衛福部屏東醫院，昨（六）日啟動防疫機制，與屏縣衛生局、疾管局專家舉辦聯合防疫措施演練，希望以更完善的準備，防範高高屏地區的安全，防演過程逼真。
演練計劃參與者除屏東醫院外，還有衛生局及疾病管制局的防疫專家，演練案情主要在於醫院發現疑似病例時的處置情形，過程中包含醫護人員的防護、處置及送進隔離病房時的處理方式等，目的在確保醫護人員安全，達到救人救己的任務，過程相當逼真。
